Eligible Singaporeans to Receive Up to S$800 Cash Payments Under Assurance Package

The Singapore government has announced that about 2.9 million adult Singaporeans will receive cash payments ranging from S$200 to S$800 in December 2023 through the Assurance Package. This is to help Singaporeans cope with the rising cost of living. The payments will be made to Singaporeans aged 21 and above in 2024, regardless of the number of properties they own. Within this group of 2.9 million Singaporeans, about 2.5 million will also receive an additional payment of up to S$200.

The cash payments are part of a larger package of measures introduced by the Singapore government to help Singaporeans cope with the rising cost of living. Other measures in the package include MediSave top-ups and CDC vouchers.

Singaporeans can check their eligibility and receive their payments through the Assurance Package website or via PayNow.

Here are some additional details about the Assurance Package cash payments:

• The amount of the cash payment you will receive depends on your income.
• If you are aged 21 to 54, you will receive up to S$600.
• If you are aged 55 to 64, you will receive up to S$400.
• If you are aged 65 and above, you will receive up to S$800.
• If you have an assessable income of S$100,000 or less, you will receive an additional payment of up to S$200.
• The cash payments will be made in December 2023.
